Continuing Education Credit Information
Baker Act on-line training has been reviewed and approved for continuing education credits (CEs) for nurses, licensed psychologists, licensed social workers, licensed mental health counselors, licensed marriage and family counselors, and certified addiction professionals.
To qualify for CEs, complete the on-line module(s). Take the on-line quiz for each module. You must receive a score of 80% or better. When a passing score is achieved, a link will appear with a certificate of completion on the course outline page.
PLEASE NOTE: A $25 processing fee will be charged each time you apply for continuing education credit. To save money, we highly recommend that if you are planning on taking more than one Baker Act on-line course (3 are currently available) that you wait until completing all your courses before applying for continuing education credit. Fee applies to APA,CAP, RN, LCSW, LMHC, and LMFC.
- APA, CAPs - 3 contact hours for up to 3 modules
- Nurses, LCSW, LMHC, LMFC - 3.6 contact hours for up to 3 modules
- CLE - up to 3 contact hours
- Guardians - 1 hour for each module completed
