Online Training CE Information:
Miami-Dade Area Health Education Center (AHEC) has reviewed and approved the Baker Act on-line training for continuing education (CE) credits for nurses, licensed social workers, licensed mental health counselors, and licensed marriage and family counselors.The University of South Florida Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute has reviewed and approved the Baker Act on-line training for CE credits for certified addiction professionals and certified peer specialists.
The Florida Bar has reviewed and approved the Baker Act on-line training for CE credits for attorneys.
To qualify for CEs, complete the on-line module(s). Take the on-line quiz for each module. You must receive a score of 80% or better. Please see each module for more information on how to apply.
Please note: The Baker Act & Marchman Act Comparison and Co-Occurring Disorders course CE verification is handled separately by USF Continuing Education and not Miami-Dade AHEC. There is a separate fee and application to receive CE for this course.
